The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC in Crime No. 429 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is seen that this petition has been filed during the lock-down period and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner did not take any steps to list this matter before this Court for the past two years. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered after the period of two years.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
