This matter has been listed today under the caption "For being mentioned" at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. On 24.07.2015, this Court passed the following order: "It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent that a case has been registered in C.S.R.No.174 of 2015 on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner. The said submission is hereby recorded."

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner brought to the notice of this Court that no regular case has been registered by the respondent police and only C.S.R. has been registered. Hence, the order dated 24.07.2015 is recalled, as there is a clerical error in it.

3. In the light of the fact that a petition enquiry is pending in C.S.R.No.174 of 2015, this Court directs the respondent police to conduct enquiry expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
