This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.95 of 2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that the FIR has been registered only on 17.04.2017.

4. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court cannot issue any direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner.

5. Hence, this petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be.
