ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to call for the records to quash the criminal proceeding in C.C.No.5198/2011, pending on the file of the Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai-8. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that NBW is pending as against the petitioner from 22.02.2019. He would further submit that Crime is of the year 2007 and the final report has already been taken cognizance in C.C.No.5198 of 2011 and the trial has also been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

commenced and PW1 &and have already been examined. 3.Considering the fact that NBW is pending as against the petitioner from 22.02.2019 and the trial has also been commenced in C.C.No.5198 of 2011 and PW1 & PW2 have already been examined before the Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, Chennai-8, the petitioner is not entitled for the relief sought for in this petition. The petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed.

4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
