ORDER
This miscellaneous petition has been filed to accept the cause title in the above CRP.SR.No.18654 of 2025 filed before this Court and in the decreetal order dated 23.10.2024 made in I.A.No.2/2024 in O.S.No.110/2024 on the file of IV Additional https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. The petitioner and the respondent are the husband and wife. It is brought to the notice of the Court that the respondent-wife had instituted a suit in OS.No.110/2024 on the file of IV Additional Family Court at Chennai, for dissolution of their marriage.
3. According to the petitioner, the suit notice served on him was returned as unserved with an endorsement 'no such person' was on the ground that his name was mentioned as "Syed Imran Ahmed", while his name in all legal documents and in the marriage registration certificate was listed as "A.Bhaskar".
4. A representation was made by the counsel for the petitioner that even without a notice been served on the husband, a memo was filed before the trial Court on his own accord stating that his name was wrongly mentioned in the suit. Following which, the wife who had instituted a suit for dissolution of marriage, had filed an application under Order VI Rule 17 of CPC to amend the name of the husband in the suit as "Syed Imran Ahmed alias Baskar" and the same came to be allowed. Challenging the same, the husband is before this Court.
5. According to the petitioner, his name should read as 'A.Bhaskar' and not as "Syed Imran Ahmed alias Baskar".
6. This Court, upon hearing the counsel for the petitioner and being satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition is ordered. Registry is directed to number the main revision petition. 17-04-2025 ds https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
