Heard Mr. M.Elango, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.Balathandayutham, Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondents to pay salary increment for each year and other service benefits from the date of regularization, viz., 30.03.2006, and pay arrears thereof by considering the representations dated 25.05.2016 and 11.07.2016 made by the Petitioner. 3.
Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, states that after the filing of the Writ Petition, the Third Respondent by proceedings no. 498/C2/2004 dated 28.02.2018 had sanctioned the monetary benefits that the Petitioner had sought and its copy has been 2/5
produced. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner also acknowledges receipt of a copy of the same. In view of the subsequent events, nothing remains for further consideration in this Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed, he is not precluded from working out his rights before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law.
In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. No costs.
