Prayer:- This Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus, directing the respondents to produce the petitioner's female daughter, Minor. Priyadharshini, D/o. Arul, aged about 16 years, before this Court and entrust the custody of the female daughter to the petitioner to secure ends of the justice. For Petitioner : M/s. V. O R D E R

Order of the Court was delivered by Nooty.Ramamohana Rao,J. This Habeas Corpus Petition is moved by a father, M.Arul, for causing the production of his 16 year old daughter, Priyadharshini, who is a XI Standard student. 2.

Pursuant to the notice issued by this Bench on 24th May, 2017, the Police at Cuddalore District, have done a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

good job, and caused production of the minor girl, Priyadharshini.

We had interacted with the girl. Since she is very familiar and conversant in Tamil, one of us, (S.M. Subramaniam,J.,) had interacted with her. She informs us that, she had gone to nearby Cuddalore, in the morning, to celebrate her birthday, and, it was a little late in the evening, by the time, she returend home, and this was mistaken by her father, and hence, this Writ Petition.

We also interacted with the father of the minor girl, who is present in the Court.

Be that as it may, since the girl is produced before us, and she was born in the year 2001, and as she is only a minor girl, we restored her custody to her father, M.Arul, in the Court today.

With this, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
