The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.03.2020 on execution of the NBW issued by the learned IV - additional District Court Ponneri in S.C.No.190 of 2018 for the offence under Sections 147, 148, 341, 302 of IPC read with 149 of IPC, seeks bail.

2. It is seen that this petition has been filed during the lock-down period and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner did not take any steps to list this matter before this Court for the past two years. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered after the period of two years.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
