Mr.K.Suresh Government Advocate COMMON ORDER (1) The prayers in the writ petitions read as follows:- ''Writ Petitions filed Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to process the applications dated 16.12.2016 and 21.06.2017 of the petitioner for upgradation of School Recognition from class 5th to 8th standard [WP.No.9271/2019] and 5th to 9th standard [WP.No.9278/2019] without insisting upon Building Plan approval from the Directorate of Town and Country Planning [DTCP] in view of settled proposition of law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.''
(2) Mr.K.Suresh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent has produced the proceedings of the Director of Matriculation Schools dated 06.08.2019 bearing No.Moo.Mu.6771/Aa1/2019 and O.Mu.No.6770/Aa1/2019, which disclose that both the petitioners Schools have been given recognition from LKG to 8th Standard from the Academic Year 2018-2019.
(3) In view of the same, the prayers in the writ petitions have been addressed.
(4) Hence, the writ petitions are disposed of as having become infructuous. No costs.
