The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 27.06.2023 wherein the petitioner is claiming to be a victim and he wants his statement also to be recorded.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent. 2/4
3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions submitted that even though the final report has been filed in Crime No.16 of 2022 before the TNPID Court, Chennai which was taken on file in CC.No.7 of 2022, further investigation was sought for and the same was also permitted by an order dated 20.01.2023. In the course of further investigation, the statement of the petitioner will also be recorded u/s.161 Cr.P.C. since the petitioner also claims to be a victim.
4.In the light of the above stand, the grievance of the petitioner will be sufficiently taken care.
