ORDER

The above writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Quo-Warranto, calling upon the 5 th to 9 th respondents, to show under what authority of law they are holding the public office of the President, Vice-President and Directors of the Appakudal Harijan Primary cum Industrial Handloom Weavers Co-operative Production and Sale Society Limited, and consequently direct the 2 nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.09.2018. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents submitted that the petitioner filed the writ petition, consequent to the election of the respondents 5 to 9 in an election conducted in 2018. The learned counsel submits that the term of the respondents 5 to 9 expired as early as in 2023, and thereafter, the Society is administered by the administrator. The learned counsel therefore submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has 3/6

become infructuous.

3. Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
