ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.03.2021 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(aaa), 4(1-A) (ii) of TNP Act in Crime No.73 of 2021, seeks bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had illegally transported 120 litres of I.D arrack.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is in no way connected with the alleged offence and that he has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he may be granted anticipatory bail.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is involved in eight other previous cases which is of similar in nature.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the antecedents of the petitioner are reported to be bad, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
