O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash C.C.No.66 of 2020, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Additional Mahila Court, Villupuram, for the offence punishable under Sections 294 (b), 323, 498 (A) and 506 (ii) of the Indian Penal Code.
2. Heard Mr.A.T.Anbu Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent 1 and there is no appearance for the second respondent.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that either the First Information Report or the charge sheet filed by the first respondent Police does not make out any case.
4. Submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is on factual aspect which is a matter of evidence, cannot be appreciated by this Court, while entertaining the petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
5. In such a view of the matter, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
