The petitioner herein claims that she is running Salon cum Spa in the name and style of X-Salonce Unisex Salon and Spa at No.1, Vellar Street, Mogappair West, Chennai.

2. The Learned Counsel for the petitioner alleges that the respondent police is repeatedly harassing her under the guise of conducting inspection. Hence, the present petition is filed to direct the respondent police not to harass her under the guise of enquiry.

3. The Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent states that without valid license, the petitioner is running a Spa and therefore, police has instructed her to close down the Spa. If the petitioner wants to run the Spa, she should apply in accordance with law and comply all the necessary guidelines. Only on such application, same will be considered in accordance with law. But, without getting license, she cannot run Spa. 2/4

4. In the light of the above fact, this Court finds no reason to entertain this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 17.04.2024 Index : Yes/No.
