This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to permit the Petitioner to continue the service in the post of B.T.Assistant (Tamil) in the 5th Respondent school of salary, based on the representation submitted by the Petitioner dated 24.12.2025, in the light of the orders passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.1385 of 2025 etc., cases dated 01.09.2025, with all consequential benefits.
WP No. 10160 of 2026 Prayer:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the Respondents to permit the Petitioner to continue the service in the post of B.T.Assistant (English) in the 5th Respondent school with assessment of salary from September 2024, based on the representation submitted by the Petitioner dated 24.12.2025, in the light of the orders passed by Honble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.1385 of 2025 etc., cases dated 01.09.2024, with all consequential benefits.

In all petitions Mr. A.R.Balaji Government Advocate R1 to R4 Order These writ petitions are filed for the following relief: "To direct respondents to permit the petitioners to continue the service in their respective post in the 5th Respondent schools with assessment of salary from September 2024, based on the representation submitted by the petitioners, in the light of the orders passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.1385 of 2025 etc., cases dated 01.09.2025, with all consequential benefits."
2. Though a larger prayer has been sought in these writ petitions, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that it would suffice if respondents are directed to consider and pass orders on the representations of the petitioners.
3. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the petitioners' claim, a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and pass orders on the representations of the petitioners dated 22.12.2025 and 24.12.2025, respectively, within a period of 8 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation with regard to the merits of the case.
