ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue writ of certiorari to call for the records of the Principal Labour Court, Chennai in CP.No.4 to 8 of 2015 and to quash the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner Management has filed a memo stating that during the pendency of this Writ Petition, the workmen and the Management have arrived at amicable settlement out of the Court. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as respondents that petitioner management has deposited a sum of Rs. 70,000/- (Rupees Seventy Thousand Only) by way of Demand Draft bearing No.823877 drawn from the Bank of Baroda, Wimco Nagar, Chennai and reported that the petitioner Management has no objection in case, if the respondents withdraws the above said amount of Rs.70,000/-. The respondents are at liberty to withdraw the said amount by filing appropriate application before the Labour Court and the Memo filed by the petitioner Management is hereby recorded.

3. Once the settlement is arrived at between the parties in respect of the issue involved in this Writ Petition, cause does not survive any more in 2/4

this Writ Petition.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as settled out of Court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 09.07.2024 jai Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No To
