ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to transfer the patta No.762 in the name of the legal heirs of the petitioner's deceased husband Dhinagaran for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, based on her representation, dated 13.01.2026.

2. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

3. Since the petitioner has not submitted any online application with the 2nd respondent seeking for transfer of patta, necessarily, the petitioner will have to submit a fresh online application with the 2nd respondent, enabling the 2nd respondent to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's online application seeking for transfer of patta on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh online application with the 2nd respondent seeking for transfer of patta bearing No.762 in the name of the legal heirs of the deceased Dhinagaran for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said online application within the stipulated time from the petitioner, the 2nd respondent shall pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the said application, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks thereafter.
