ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to cancel the patta bearing No.27 standing in the name of one Late Ayyasamy for the property Page No.1 of 4
morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, and thereafter, to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the very same property, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 28.11.2025.
2. The petitioner seeks cancellation of patta bearing No.27 standing in the name of one Late Ayyasamy. He claims that the said Ayyasamy is no more and he is represented by his legal representative. He claims that erroneously patta No.27 was issued in the name of said Ayyasamy. He seeks cancellation of the same through his representation, dated 28.11.2025. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with, after hearing the objections of all the parties, which includes the legal heirs of Late Ayyasamy, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation. Page No.2 of 4

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation, dated 28.11.2025 seeking cancellation of patta bearing No.27 standing in the name of Late Ayyasamy and for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties, which includes the legal heirs of Late Ayyasamy, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
