Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 21.12.2015 for transfer of license of Saw Mill under Rule 6 of the T.N. Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules 2010 without reference to the directions contained in the letter of the first respondent in Ref.No.WR4/43180/2013 dated 07.11.2013, addressed to the second respondent.

Heard Mr.S.Kadarkarai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Government Advocate, accepting notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a mandamus to direct the second respondent to pass orders on his application dated 21.12.2015 for transfer of license of Saw Mill under Rule 6 of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules, 2010, without reference to the directions contained in the letter of the first respondent in Ref.No.WR4/43180/2013 dated 07.11.2013, addressed to the second respondent.
3.The learned Government Advocate for the respondents submitted that the third respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 21.12.2015, in accordance with law.
4.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 21.12.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after notice to the petitioner. The above direction shall be complied with by the third respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
