This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the FIR in Crime No.248 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner in this case died on 18.05.2022 and hence the petition itself has become abated. The death certificate of the petitioner has also been produced before this Court.

3. In view of the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as abated.
