By this application, the defendant seeks leave to place on record the three documents described in Schedule "A" of the Judges Summons.

2. In the affidavit in support of this application, in paragraph No.13, it is stated that the documents at Sl.Nos.1 and 2 of Schedule "A" are replies of the Resolution Professional and the Committee of Creditors in the appeal filed by Dr.Renuka Rani Maganti/wife of the plaintiff before the Hon'ble NCLAT. It is further stated that the said reply was not available at the time of filing the 1/4

written statement. As regards the document at Sl.No.3 of Schedule "A", it is stated that it is a paper book filed by the respondent in W.P.No.29724 of 2024, which is a proceeding to which the parties hereto are parties.

3. The defendant has filed a counter stating that reasonable cause has not been shown for filing these documents at this juncture.

4. The suit is at the pre-trial stage and, in fact, even the interlocutory applications have not been heard. In these circumstances, upon considering the explanation set out in the affidavit and being satisfied that reasonable cause is shown, A.No.1303 of 2025 is allowed as prayed for. This is, however, subject to the rights of the defendant to file an affidavit of admission/denial in respect thereof in respect of these documents and raise objections inter alia on grounds of admissibility, relevance and proof in course of trial. 12-03-2025 To 2/4
