PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the learned Chennai Metropolitan CCB & CBCID Judicial Magistrate, Egmore (Allikulam Campus), Chennai 600 003 to dispose of the C.C.No.2313 of 2017 within a stipulated time.

ORDER

The limited prayer sought for in the present petition is to dispose of the C.C.No.2313 of 2017 as expeditiously. It is seen that the proceedings have been initiated in the year 2017 only. The proceedings are pending before the Special Court which handles with many cases of like nature. While that being so, it would not be appropriate for this Court to issue a direction to the said Court by fixing a time limit to conclude the proceedings. 2.Nevertheless, a direction is issued to the learned Metropolitan CCB & CBCID Judicial Magistrate, Egmore, (Allikulam Campus), Chennai 600 003 to dispose of the C.C.No.2313 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible.

3.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
