ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on 24.08.2023 by conducting an enquiry.

2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that he has purchased the property in the year 1972 along with the son and brother. However, in the year 1985, his son and brother has dealt the property. Therefore, he wants to challenge the document by giving the representation to the registering authorities.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

4. At this stage, this Court is of the view that this writ petition is not maintainable for the simple reason that the title deed relied upon by the petitioner itself indicate that he purchased the property in favour of the the then minor and the writ petitioner stood as a guardian for the minor. Thereafter, in the year 1985, it appears that after attaining the majority, the property has been dealt with by the individual. Such is the case, the petitioner relief is nothing but futile exercise. That apart the registering authority has no power to cancel such document.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed.
