Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 1 to 3 to implement the order of the 4th respondent in Application No.E/4924 of 2001, dated 23.12.2002, passed under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Industrial and Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, 1981 and consequently directing the respondents 1 to 3 to absorb the petitioners in the 1st Respondent Corporation as permanent Employee based on the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 20.05.2015 with all consequential and other attendant benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for a writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents 1 to 3 to implement the order of the 4th respondent in Application No.E/4924 of 2001, dated 23.12.2002, passed under the provisions of Tamil Nadu Industrial and Establishments (Conferment of Permanent Status to Workmen) Act, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

1981 and consequently directing the respondents 1 to 3 to absorb the petitioners in the 1st Respondent Corporation as permanent Employee based on the representation submitted by the petitioners dated 20.05.2015 with all consequential and other attendant benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.Even though the petitioner has submitted his representation to the 1st respondent dated 20.05.2015, the 1st respondent has not taken any action to dispose of the same, which prompted the petitioner to move this Court for the above direction. 3.Considering the limited scope of prayer, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and after conducting enquiry, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.In the result, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
