The petitioners, who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 07.05.2020 for the offence under Sections 147, 341, 270, 353, 506(i) of I.P.C. and Section 3 of T.N.P.P.D.L Act in crime No.851 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police, seek bail.

2. It is seen that this petition has been filed during the lock-down period and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner did not take any steps to list this matter before this Court for the past two years. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be considered after the period of two years.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
