This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.793 of 2012 dated 15.06.2012 pending investigation on the file of the respondent.

2. The respondent police have filed Status Report, wherein Paragraph No.8, it is stated as follows:

"8. I submit that the other accused Chandru is absconding till date. After completion of the detailed investigation and collection of material evidences, on 18.10.2013, the then Inspector of Police laid a charge sheet and submitted before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court, Thirukazhukundram. The said Court has taken it on file vide C.C.No.272 of 2014 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 01.10.2014. Now, the case is pending trial and was posted for next hearing on 13.08.2015 for appearance of the accused persons."
