Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to direct the surveyor to conduct the survey and thereafter issue patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to the schedule mentioned property pursuance to the application made by the petitioner vide Appl.No.TN No.16 dated 27.10.2020.

ORDER

(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the 2nd respondent herein to conduct the survey and thereafter issue patta in favour of petitioner.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that earlier, she has filed an application dated 27.10.2020 before the 2nd and 3rd respondents to survey her land, for which, she has paid necessary fees. Thereafter, the Taluk Surveyor also sent a notice to the petitioner to appear for enquiry and she has also appeared for enquiry and subsequently, no survey was made. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Hence, the petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition.

3. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents, on instructions from the 2nd respondent Tahsildar, would submit that, further enquiry was posted on 27.04.2021 and after enquiry, suitable orders will be passed.

4. Recording the above submissions, the 2nd respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
