JUDGMENT
This criminal appeal has been preferred against the conviction and sentence passed in Sessions Case No.4 of 2007 by the Additional District and Sessions-cum-Fast Track Court, Ariyalur. During pendency of the same, on the side of the respondent/complainant, a memo has been filed, wherein it has been clearly stated that the quantum of sentence imposed against the appellant in Sessions Case No.4 of 2007, has been reduced by way of giving remission and due to that the accused has been released on 11.09.2008 and to that effect, the order passed by the jail authority has been annexed with. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. Considering the aforesaid factual circumstances, the present appeal has become infructuous and therefore, the same is liable to be dismissed.
In fine, this criminal appeal is dismissed as infructuous.
