ORDER

The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2015 and appoint him as Village Panchayat Secretary in Nakondapalli Panchayat as per G.O.(Ms.)No.72, Rural Development & Panchayat Raj (E5) Department, dated 09.07.2013.

2. According to the petitioner, he is Ex-Service Man's son; he belongs to the Scheduled Caste Community; and after completion of S.S.L.C., he registered his name and educational

qualification in the District Employment Exchange. Stating that he possesses the required qualification and he is eligible to be appointed for the post of Village Panchayat Secretary, as per G.O.Ms.No.72, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (E5) Department, dated 09.07.2013, the petitioner made a representation dated 17.02.2015 to the respondents to consider his candidature for appointment to the said post. However, the said representation was not considered, till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and also perused the documents enclosed in the typed set of papers.

4. Considering the limited relief sought in this writ petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the Petitioner's representation dated 17.02.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law and also in the light of G.O.Ms.No.72, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (E5) Department, dated 09.07.2013, within a period of eight weeks (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
