By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.Mr.C.V.Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that aggrieved over the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Ambattur in Na.Ka.No.3793/2013/a2 dated 11.10.2014, the petitioner preferred an appeal in Proceedings No.15154 of 2015 dated 02.06.2015. Since, the appeal proceeding is pending for more than six months on the file of the respondent and no further action on the side of the respondent, the petitioner filed the present writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.C.V.Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, Government Advocate who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.

This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 02.06.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
