ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The writ of mandamus has been instituted to act upon the representation and compliant dated 04.12.2024 filed by the petitioner and to take action against the Inspector Balamurugan, Dindigul Superintendent of Police - Special Crime

Team and his team members who were responsible for being involved in this unlawful act against the petitioner and her family member.

2. The said representation dated 04.12.2024 is enclosed at Page No.63 of the typed set of papers filed along with the writ petition. Perusal of the representation reveals that it is addressed to the Hon'ble Chief Minister, Special Cell. Such general representations given by a person would not provide a cause for instituting a writ petition. Only in the event of submitting an appeal or representation to the competent authorities under the provisions of any law the writ would lie and therefore, the present writ petition is not entertainable and stands dismissed.
