(The case has been heard through video conference) This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondents authority to rectify the mistakes in FMB sketch with regard to the petitioner's property in S.F.No.232/81 situated at Siruvangur village, Kallakurichi by considering the petitioner's representation dated 04.12.2020 within a time fixed by this court.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, he is the owner of the property to an extent of 30 cents in Survey No. S.F. 232/81 situated at Siruvangur Village, Kallakurichi District, and a patta was also issued in his favour. Thereafter, on perusal of FMB sketch, it shows only 12 cents. Hence, to rectify the mistake, he has made an application to the 2nd respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Sub-Collector on 04.12.2020. Based on that, enquiry was also conducted and subsequently, the District Collector also directed the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry and pass orders on 22.12.2020. But, so far, the enquiry was not conducted and no order has been passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner association.

3. Considering the limited prayer sought in the present Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner and pass suitable orders on merits in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
