The present prayer in the criminal original petition is to call for the records in C.C.No.1984 of 2010 on the file of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai and quash the same.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this criminal original petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
