This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 04.07.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard Mr.K.R.Ramaswamy @ Traffic Ramaswamy, Party-inPerson and Mr.C.Emalias, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The Additional Public Prosecutor submits that, on a complaint lodged by one M.P.Naresh Kumar, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.1492 of 2015 and on the complaint lodged by one J.Mohan, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.1493 of 2015 for the offence under Section 4(A)(1)(b) of TNOPPD Act 1959 .
