Mr.V.Prakash Babu (For R3) C O M M O N O R D E R Heard Mr. P.Anandan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the First and Second Respondents and Mr. V.Prakash Babu, Learned Counsel for the Third Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

This Writ Petitions have filed for a direction to the Respondents to forbear from demolishing the house of the Petitioners or in any other manner interfering or disturbing the possession and enjoyment of the house constructed in S. No. 31-A at Vasudevampattu Village, Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District.

According to the Petitioners, land in question, i.e., S. No. 31-A at Vasudevampattu Village, Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District has been allotted vide Order dated 20.03.1998 in Na.Ka.No. 1540/97 by the Special Tahsildar (Adi Dravidar Welfare), Chengam in favour of the Petitioners. Ever since such allotment, the Petitioners are in possession of the land by constructing a house in the above mentioned property. However, the Third Respondent is attempting to grab the property of the Petitioners. Aggrieved thereby, the present Writ Petitions have filed before this Court seeking appropriate remedy.

Learned Special Government Pleader for the Respondents, on instructions, states that the petitioners possession will not be disturbed without due process of law.

5. In view of the above submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to proceed with the matter in

accordance with law.

No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
