Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, quashing the letters in Na.Ka.No.166/2022 dated 17.06.2022 and 10.10.2023 refusing registration on the ground of the Sale Certificate being time barred, issued by the Office of the second respondent as being arbitrary, illegal, in derogation of law laid down by various courts and consequently direct the office of the second respondent to undertake the registration of the Sale Certificate date 01.04.2013. ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This writ petition is filed to quash the letters in Na.Ka.No.166/2022 dated 17.06.2022 and 10.10.2023 refusing registration on the ground of the Sale Certificate being time barred, issued by the Office of the second respondent as being arbitrary, illegal, in derogation of law laid down by various courts and consequently direct the second respondent to register the Sale Certificate date 01.04.2013.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that he has purchased the subject property through a public auction held on 07.01.2013 and the Sub Court, Kancheepuram had confirmed the sale on 07.03.2013 and issued a Sale Certificate. The grievance of the petitioner is that when he approached the 2/5
authorities concerned for registration of the sale certificate, the authorities have refused to register the sale certificate on the ground of limitation. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Now the communication sent by the second respondent has been placed before this Court wherein it is stated that the document has been returned due to some discrepancy in the software and if the document is uploaded and represented, the same will be registered. The above communication is taken on record.
6. In such view of the matter, the writ petitioner is directed to represent the document as requested in the communication of the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such compliance made by the writ petitioner, the second shall register the document within a period of one month thereafter.
7. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 12.04.2024 vrc 3/5
