This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 03.07.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard Mr.K.R.Ramaswamy @ Traffic Ramaswamy, Party-inPerson and Mr.C.Emalias, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that on a complaint of one Jegajeevan Rao for the same cause of action, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.2181 of 2015 on 03.07.2015 under Section 4 of Disfigurement Act.
