ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners seek anticipatory bail in Crime No.161 of 2019 for the occurrence said to have taken place on 24.03.2019. An FIR has been registered against the petitioners under Sections 143, 341, 171 (H), 188 and 286 of IPC.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that no cash has been seized from the accused persons.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners has produced permission granted to the petitioners for conducting election campaign using two-wheelers.

4. A perusal of the FIR would show that the offences complined are not very serious in nature. Considering the fact that the offences complined are said to have happened during the election campaign, I am of the considered opinion that the petitioners should be granted anticipatory bail.

5. Hence, this petition is allowed and the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of the order, before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvarur, on condition that the petitioners shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned, as the case may be.
