Civil Revision Petitions filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for early disposal of I.A.Nos.594, 596, 598 and 600 of 2014 in O.S.Nos.100, 101, 102 and 103 of 2014 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Ponneri.
For Petitioners (in all CRPs) : Mr.J.Shanmugasundara Babu C O M M O N O R D E R The plaintiffs in O.S.Nos.100 to 103 of 2014 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Ponneri, have filed the above Civil Revision Petitions to direct the trial Court to dispose of the injunction applications in I.A.Nos.594, 596, 598 & 600 of 2014 within a stipulated time.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the plaintiffs filed the suits in O.S.Nos.100 to 103 of 2014 for permanent injunction. Further, the learned counsel submitted that the applications filed by the plaintiffs praying for interim injunction in I.A.Nos.594, 596, 598 & 600 of 2014 have not been disposed of by the trial Court in spite of the long duration of time. That apart, the learned counsel submitted that due to the pendency of the applications, the plaintiffs are put to hardship and prejudice.
3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petitions, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the District Munsif, Ponneri, to dispose of the applications in I.A.Nos.594, 596, 598 and 600 of 2014 in O.S.Nos.100, 101, 102 and 103 of 2014, on merits and in accordance with law, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With this observation, the Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
