Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the second respondent in its Tender Notice No.DB/36/CE/TEC/18-19/DO dated 04.12.2018 and quash the same insofar as item No.17 viz., for construction of compound wall in VSS Government Arts and College, Poolankurchi in Sivagangai district is concerned and consequently direct the respondents to re-tender the said item of work in accordance with the procedure outlined in the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act and Rules.

The Writ Petition is filed challenging the tender notification issued by the second respondent in Tender Notice No.DB/36/CE/TEC/18-19/DO dated 04.12.2018.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent, upon instructions, states that the tender process has been completed and the construction itself is over.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
