Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records connected with the order of the second respondent herein concerned in Rc.No.C2/8841/2020 dated 11.05.2020 and quash the order of detention passed therein by the second respondent herein against the detenu and directing the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu by name Ramesh, Son of Subramani, aged about 40 years, now detained in Central Prison, Cuddalre before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Rc.No.C2/8841/2020 dated 11.05.2020 detaining her husband as "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2884 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 06.07.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
