Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the fourth respondent relating to the orders passed on 21.11.2016 in O.A.No.310/1292/2016 upholding the validity of the impugned transfer policy dated 20.11.2015 and quash the same and direct the official respondents to frame a transfer policy in conformity with the norms prescribed by the CBEC.

ORDER
This writ petition has been preferred against the order dated 21.11.2016 passed in O.A.No.310/1292/2016 by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench, Chennai, whereby the challenge made by the petitioners to the transfer policy came to be dismissed.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the said transfer policy is no longer in existence and it has been superseded by a new transfer policy of the year 2018. He submits that in this view of the matter, the prayer made in the writ petition has become infructuous.
3. In view of the statement made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
