Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned charge memo issued by the 1st Respondent in Roc.No.66475/2004/C2 dated 2.6.2005 and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st Respondent to consider the name of the Petitioner for promotion as Assistant in the panel prepared for the year 2007-08 and for the posts included in Class IV for which the panel was prepared during 2013 on par with his junior with all consequential monetary benefits.

Heard both sides. Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.Though the petitioner has sought to quash the charge memo in Roc.No.66475/2004/C2 dated 02.06.2005 issued to him, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if the second respondent is directed to pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings within a stipulated period. According to the learned counsel, totally eight persons were issued charge memo including the petitioner and in the case of seven others, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the disciplinary proceedings was completed and final orders were passed by the second respondent. It is also stated that enquiry in the disciplinary proceedings was already over long back. 3.In view of the limited prayer made during the hearing, the second respondent is directed to complete the disciplinary proceedings and pass appropriate orders within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
