Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition came to be numbered by transfer of O.A.No.5422 of 2002 on the file of the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal seeking to direct the respondents to regularise the service of the petitioner in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher with effect from the date of initial appointment i.e. 14.03.1981 and confer all monetary and service benefits consequently.

ORDER

The petitioner filed O.A.No.5422 of 2002 before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal seeking for a direction to the respondents to regularise his services in the post of Secondary Grade Teacher with effect from the date of his initial appointment dated 14.03.1981 and thereby confer all monetary and service benefits. On abolition of the tribunal, the same was transferred to the file of this Court and re-numbered as W.P.No.5239 of 2007.

2. When the matter was taken up, Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Additional Government Pleader brought to the notice of this Court a letter dated 19.02.2015 written by the petitioner, wherein it is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

stated that he is not interested in pursuing the matter, as he has conferred with all the benefits subsequent to his retirement.
