ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent herein to produce the body and person of the petitioner's daughter Anjumol, aged about 25 years, before this Court and set her at liberty forthwith.

It is the case of the petitioner that his daughter Anjumol, aged about 25 years, went missing from 02.04.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her. 3.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Chetpet Police Station Crime No.101 of 2021 for 'woman missing' was registered on 02.04.2021. He further submitted that during the course of investigation, it came to light that Anjumol has eloped with one Abdul Muthalif, got married to him and had it registered in Kerala on 07.04.2021. 4.

In such view of the matter, it cannot be stated that Anjumol, aged about 25 years, is in the illegal custody of anyone for the issuance of a writ of habeas corpus. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
