Respondents PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to demarcate and issue Patta to the petitioner for the land in S.R.Nos.16,17 and 18 to an extent of 0.0192, 0.0008 & 0.0348 Sq.Mts at Thandu Bazar Street, Arcot Town, Vellore District based on the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2017 and 11.09.2017 within a time framed that may be fixed by this Court.

Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to demarcate and issue Patta to the petitioner for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the land in S.R.Nos.16,17 and 18 to an extent of 0.0192, 0.0008 & 0.0348 Sq.Mts at Thandu Bazar Street, Arcot Town, Vellore District, based on the representations of the petitioner dated 10.07.2017 and 11.09.2017.

3. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court, is that the said representations have not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 1st respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.09.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the 1st respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
