Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to provide the information based on petitioner's representation dated 29.06.2016, with regard to the information sough for by him under Right to Information Act about the status of Patta in Survey No.27/1, property situated at Kattupaakkam Village, Poonamalle Taluk.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the respondents submits that, during the pendency of the present Writ petition, the 1st respondent passed an order dated 12.06.2018 on the appeal dated 15.03.2016 filed by the petitioner and directed the officials to furnish the information sought for by the petitioner under Right to Information Act, 2005. Hence, nothing survives for further adjudication and he prays this Court for dismissal of the present Writ petition.
2. Recording the above submission made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, this Writ petition is closed. No costs.
