District & Sessions Judge, Salem in S.C.No.55 of 2014 pending disposal of the CRL.A.No.686/2017.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.686 of 2017 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.B.VASUDEVAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. R.RAVICHANDRAN, ADDL. PUBLIC PROSECUTOR on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- [Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.,] The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks the leave of this Court to withdraw the above miscellaneous petition with a plea to expedite the final hearing of the appeal. He has also made an endorsement in the petition to the effect of withdrawal of the same. The Court heard the submissions of Mr.R.Ravichandran, learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] appearing for the respondent / State.

In the light of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this miscellaneous

petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
