Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the 1st and 2nd respondents. Since this writ petition is disposed of without affecting the interest of the 3rd respondent, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 02.11.2017 filed by him against the order of the 2nd respondent dated 09.10.2017 arising out of the patta proceedings.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said Appeal filed by him before the first respondent has not been considered so far. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in respect of the subject matter of patta, I am only directing the first respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent. Such exercise shall be done by the first respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
