Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of habeas corpus directing the first and second respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter S.Swetha, D/o. Swaminathan, aged about 18 years, before this Court and handover minor S.Swetha to the petitioner father.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter S.Swetha, D/o. Swaminathan, aged about 18 years, before this Court and handover her to the petitioner, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3.Today, status report has been filed by the first respondent. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenue was secured on 24.10.2020 at Bangalore. He has further submitted that the detenue was produced before the Child Welfare Committee, Dharmapuri on 27.10.2020 and she was sent to Home. The accused was remanded to judicial custody. 4.In such view of the matter, the habeas corpus petition stands closed.
